If you have a disability, you may be eligible to receive testing accommodations. To arrange for special accommodations, you must first receive approval of the accommodation request from your social work board and ASWB. Most boards include the necessary forms in their application materials, and the forms are also included in the ASWB Candidate Handbook. If you do not have information from your board on how to request special accommodations, you should contact the board for more information.
English as a Second Language (ESL) accommodations
When permitted by the relevant regulatory board, ASWB offers limited arrangements for test candidates whose first language is not English. Details are available in the ASWB Candidate Handbook, or contact us with specific questions
